There are
special requirements for a chain link fence around a
swimming pool. Most communities use the
Boca Code,
explained below. Swimming pool fencing requires extra attention
to detail.
Latches are designed for gates so two
year olds and younger can not operate. Self
closing devices
work in conjuction with these latches to keep the gates closed.
Special mesh chain link fabric is used so they can't climb over
the fence. All this is no cure all, but with supervision and a
good secure fence your doing all you can to prevent an accident.
